GOAL: Create It Theater teaches children ages 6-13 to use their imagination through interpersonal relations and the exploration of all aspects of the theater.

DESCRIPTION: Through interactive, team-based activities participants are led on an exciting adventure of their imagination through interpersonal relations and the exploration of all aspects of the theater. Lessons encourage teamwork, listening and communication skills, emotional mastery and confidence boosting, creativity and building performance skills, and a greater appreciation of the arts. As the sessions progress, each group of kids learns to support and encourage each other, to affirm choices and ideas, and create fun, positive scenes. Participants will create everything in their production from the commercials to their actual play performance at the end of each session. Act I will focus on utilizing the creative process and providing an opportunity to develop creative and performance skills. Act II will involve all aspects of the production including the designing of programs for the guests.  Advanced Acting is designed for dedicated, talented, experienced, joyful kids & teens who want to enhance their acting careers with training, performing, and networking opportunities!  Lastly, in our We Play classes, students will learn and grasp the concept of all basics of play writing.
